For those visitors who wish to explore at their own pace, Budva offers a simple way of recreation in nature. Walking south from Old Budva town via Slovenska beach, you can climb Zavala hill and walk on to reach Becici and Rafailovici. If this much walking does not appeal to you, then a less strenuous pleasure can be enjoyed if you take the mini tourist train to visit parts of Budva. If you would like to learn more about the history of other parts of Montenegro, then the many tourist agencies along Slovenska beach have a variety of tours on offer. In addition to visiting museums and monasteries, there is white water rafting on Tara River, cruising on Skadar Lake, ..., too many to mention here. But if you wanted to only explore Budva and its surroundings, especially the hidden places like the stone bay, then the best solution is a tour of the Budva coast with one of the many tourist taxi-boats. Such tours include a visit to one of the many Budva beaches, for instance the beach at Jaz, Becici beach, the beaches at Sveti Stefan, Drobni pijesak or Petrovac. Also, apart from getting to know Budva, you can explore the coast further afield, around Bar or Herceg Novi. Numerous cruising boats take 25 to 30 passengers on interesting trips to Bar or Herceg Novi, with a break of one hour to explore the towns. If you wish to plan your day differently or would like to reach a beach or bay in a different way, then simply use a taxi van. They tour Budva Becici, Budva Sveti Stefan or Budva Petrovac and take passengers every 15 minutes or half an hour. Also, to transfer to your desired hotel, restaurant or private rented apartment, you can take a taxi from the taxi stand a few hundred metres from Budva Old town.
