Budva is the most important tourist site along the Montenegrin coast when it comes to entertainment, with special summer programmes offering a bit of everything and something for everybody. During the summer months, Budva is mostly the town for the young. Night bars, terraces and open-air discos are big attractions for all young people, especially during long, sleepless nights. For many of our visitors, the Budva nights are the most interesting part of their summer holidays. Over the last 15 years Budva has become know as the most popular tourist town for young people.

During the summer months, the town abounds with all kinds of music from pop and folk to techno and rave. Then there are the many are contests, like Top Beach Girl, Miss Summer, karaoke and lots of other shows and dance programmes. Whilst being attractive for the younger generation, Budva is no less interesting a town for those of a more advanced age. Many pleasantly designed restaurant terraces abound, where with different appetisers, good food, top wines and the sound of light music, you can enjoy yourself till daybreak. Also at the disposal of tourists with more refined tastes are numerous exhibitions, music and literary evenings in many hotels and in summer a traditional culture festival at the Budva City theatre.

Apart from swimming in the clear and warm sea, Budva offers numerous competitions that will enchant the children. There are daily parties at many of the beaches, such as the children's mini parks and water slides at some beaches. Every day during the early evening hours some hotel gardens change into a children's stage for competitions such as a quiz or karaoke and there are also a number of performances especially for children.
